Thomas Sowell
1930년 6월 30일생.
미국의 저술가, 경제학자, 정치평론가로 후버 인스티튜트(Hoover Institute)의 시니어 펠로우이다. 노스캐롤라이나 빈민가 출신으로, 뉴욕의 명문 스타이브산트(Stuyvesant) 고등학교와 하버드대학교를 졸업한 수재이다. 경제, 정치, 사회적 현상에 대한 다수의 베스트셀러를 저술하였다.
